Born into a turbulent Soviet society in 1986, Kirill Melentiev
developed an energetic and
observant photographic eye throughout his youth. Beyond
kirill's young days watching the fall of the Soviet Union, he later
found great expression through photography in his pre-University
years during his travels around Western Europe.
From both Kirill's youth and pre-University days, he developed a great interest in capturing unique moments from real life.
Specializing in area of "reportage street shots" and at-ease portraits of friends, Kirill cultivated his eye and skills in a Magnum Photos style of work. Kirill's work has been printed in Izvestia Newspaper, while also frequently requested to be shown at the Finance Academy in Moscow, where Kirill formally studied throughout his University years.
